Class 61 In a wrench having a movable jaw 3 adjustable by a worm 7 rotatable in the wrench head 1. the screw being adapted to engage teeth 6 on a rod shaped guide part 5 forming the lower portion of the jaw 3, which guide part 5 is displaceable in a groove in the head 1, the intermediate part 10 of the guide part 5 is formed with a reduced thickness along the periphery of its cross section to aid in preventing warping of the jaw during hardening. The flat web 4 of the jaw 3 is made somewhat thicker at the ends to form guide lugs 11.
