Abstract

<PICT:0746499/III/1> A painting roller device comprises a box or case for the paint or other material, provided with a handle, and a hollow perforated pick up roller contacting a painting roller, both rotatably mounted in the box or case, the painting roller projecting from a slot or opening. A paint applying roller 14 projects from a slot in a paint container 3 and is in contact with a perforated roller 12 dipping in the paint. The spindle of the roller 12 is mounted in slots 9 in side plates 7 and in holes in plates 10 removably engaging the plates 7. The spindle 13 of the roller 14 is mounted in holes in the plates 10. The plates 7 are spaced from and removably secured to the container wall by spacers 8. The rollers 12, 14 and the plates 10 are easily removed from the container. The container is mounted on a handle 1 and has an aperture for filling.
