Abstract

744,271. Roofing &c. tiles. ROBINSON, W. P. July 15, 1954 [July 23, 1953], No. 20484/53. Class 87 ( 1 ). An aluminium or plastic roofing, &c. tile 1 is provided on its rear face with an upturned lip 2 and a downwardly inclined lip 3, and on its front face with a downwardly inclined lip 4 so positioned that when it is engaged with the lip 2 of a superposed tile, the upper end of the tile engages under the lip 3 of the superposed tile. A corresponding corner tile is of L-shape in plan but has no rearward lip 3. A ridge tile of inverted V-section is provided with a lip on each bottom edge.
