An oil-hole closure comprises a body part 10 formed with a screwthread 10a for screwing into a hole, for example, in a bicycle wheel hub, and a plug-shaped lid 11 attached to the body part by a strap-like hinge 12, the whole device being formed in one piece from a resilient or flexible plastic material. Instead of the screw-thread 10a, the body part may have small longitudinal ribs or may be formed with a circumferential groove for engaging in the hole to which the device is applied.
