729,073. Cycle handles. SHOCKSTOP RUBBER PRODUCTS, Ltd. Oct. 14, 1953 [Dec. 3, 1952], No. 30608/52. Class 136(3). An end cover and closure for cycle handlebars comprises a disc 12 of rubber or other suitable material and an integral tubular portion 10 to fit tightly over the end of the handlebar 15, the portion 10 being of slightly smaller outside diameter than the disc 12 for a short distance compared with the diameter of the tubular portion adjacent the disc and having the remainder of its length tapered away from the disc, the whole outside surface of the tubular portion being smooth finished, whereby it is adapted to receive taping continuous with that on the handlebar. A vent hole 14 is provided in the disc 12.
