737,288. Photographic roll film stereocamera. ASPDEN, R. W., and BEALES, D. P., [trading as OPTICAL DESIGNS]. March 18, 1954 [March 19, 1953], No. 7661/53. Classes 98 (1) and 98 (2). A twin-lens stereocamera for 35 mm. film comprises a support for the spools or cassettes and an intervening film guide which is movable in the direction of the width of the film and a mask to limit suitably the extent of each image so that two rows of images extending along the film can be recorded. As shown, the film guideway 7 and the spool-supporting lugs 8 are slidably keyed on the shafts 12 of the film winding knobs 10 so as to be movable in the direction of the width of the film by rack 13 driven by a pinion 14 rotatable by a knob 16 so as to record in turn two longitudinal rows of pictures on the film through exposure gates 23 in a fixed plate 5 opposite fixed-focus objectives which are screw-mounted in the body at 4. Film-metering sprocket halves 18 on shafts having slidably mating halves 17, 19 operate an exposure counter on the top of the camera.
