Abstract

A fungicidal or insecticidal composition comprises as an essential active ingredient a thiocarbamic acid containing a cyclotetramethylene group, in particular cyclotetramethylene thiuram disulphide or a salt or a formaldehyde condensation product of cyclotetramethylenedithiocarbamic acid. Specified salts are the sodium, potassium, triethanolamine, zinc, copper, iron, mercury, lead and antimony salts. The compositions may be (a) powders with e.g. talc as a diluent, (b) suspensions, (c) solutions, (d) emulsions, (e) aerosols. Other insecticides and fungicides may be present, e.g. oxides, hydroxides, or salts of metals such as zinc. Specification 632,154 is referred to.
