735,052. Mudguards. STADIUM, Ltd. Nov. 19, 1953 [Aug. 19, 1952], No. 20810/52. Class 136(1). A device for holding a flag or other article on the mudguard of a cycle consists of a piece of sheet metal 1, Fig. 1, having a rectangular part 2 and two arms 4 each having a lateral extension 5, the rectangular part 2 being bent to form a socket 3, Fig. 2, with the two arms 4 substantially parallel to one another and each extension 5 being bent to form a flange which with the socket 3 vertical will bear on the mudguard 8 in position to be secured to it by U- shaped clips 6 and screws 7. The device receives the stem 10 of a flag or the like. Alternatively, there may be only one arm 4.
