732,644. Holders for thermionic valves. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Nov. 10, 1953 [Nov. 13, 1952], No. 31117/53. Class 38 (1). Means for connecting a disc electrode 8 of a discharge tube 7 to a metal wall 1, e.g. a cavity resonator or hollow wave-guide, comprises two slotted discs 2, 3 arranged so that the slots in each disc are covered by the other disc. This is stated to prevent-coupling between the spaces at either side of the wall.
