732,615. Tube cleaning devices. TRIPPLEHORN, D. R. June 30, 1953, No. 18077/53. Class 99 (2). A helical scraper blade of spring material, e.g. steel, and of rectangular cross-section frictionally grips a sucker rod R disposed in oil well tubing T, the opposed edges 2, 3 at each end of the blade partially approaching each other. The blade stands normal to the surface of the rod R. A number of blades may be assembled on the rod. Alternatively, blades having right-hand and left-hand helices may be assembled alternately on the rod.
