731,475. Gramophone-record envelopes. LINGUAPHONE INSTITUTE, Ltd., and RIDZ, A. S. Oct. 14, 1953 [Feb. 23, 1953], No. 4957/53. Class 146(2). A gramophone record envelope, open at one end and closed at the opposite end, has a slit 7 located substantially midway along each of the two side edges. As shown, the envelope is formed from a single sheet folded to form front and back surfaces, spaced flaps 4, 5 on one surface being folded over and secured to the other surface to leave slits 7 at the edges between the flanges. Central openings 3 are provided, and the edges 6 of the flaps preferably cut at an angle so that the envelopes can be stored flat in stocks. Preferably the length of slits 7 is substantially equal to the diameter of opening 3.
