Abstract

731,004. Look-out reflectors for vehicles. PORSCHE, F. March 20, 1953 [May 6, 1952], No. 7784/53. Class 103 (2). [Also in Group XI] A vehicle spot light 4 has a front glass 7 provided with a light transmitting mirror coating 8, such as a coating of aluminium-, or mercury-, or silver-nitrate evaporated on the glass and is adjustably mounted on a corner post of the vehicle so that the front glass can face rearwardly or forwardly. When facing rearwardly the glass serves as a rear view mirror. The spot light is attached to a member 3 rotatably mounted on the outer end of a hollow arm 2 extending outwardly from the corner post. An actuating rod 5 extends from the rotatable member 3 through the hollow arm and the corner post to the interior of the vehicle.
