Abstract
730,597. Transistor oscillators. NATIONAL RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION. Aug. 4, 1953 [Aug. 21, 1952], No. 21059/52. Class 40 (6). A feed-back circuit comprising a capacitor C and resistor R1 is arranged between a tap on potentiometer Rc in the collector lead and the emitter e. The resistor Rb is adjusted to give a substantially sine-wave output. By varying the value of resistor R1 and/or capacitor C, the frequency of oscillation may be varied. The emitter bias battery may be omitted and resistor R2 connected to earth.
