729,490. Moulds. BOHLER & CO., AKT.- GES., GEB. Oct. 31, 1952 [Nov. 14, 1951], No. 27463/52. Drawings to Specification. Class 83 ( 1). A liquid-cooled metal chill mould of substantially square internal cross-section for continuous casting has the corners of the internal cross-section rounded, the radius of curvature of said corners being from one fourth to one seventh of the length of the side of the square. In a modification the straight sides of the internal cross-section are replaced by slightly convex curves of a radius lying within the range 2.5-1.5 times the length of the side of the square.
