726,882. Ventilators. STEWART, I. M. Sept. 17, 1953, No. 25696/53. Class 137. A device for fitting, e.g., in the ceiling of a space to be ventilated for distributing air with the minimum of noise and draught comprises an inner tapered member 4 which is supported coaxially by a spider 6 within the tapered portion of an outer member 2 adapted to be connected to an air duct, the cross-section of the air passage between the members 2, 4, both of pyramidal or conical form, being constant. The inner member 4 is filled with sound absorbing material 5. Specification 375,862 is referred to.
