[Also in Group II] In a grinding mill (see Group II) the convolutions 12a, 13a of the feed worms 12, 13 are progressively decreased in diameter adjacent a baffle 14 which guides the material leaving the feed worms downwardly on to the rotor of the mill. In a modification, Fig. 3 (not shown), a single feed worm assembly is used.
