Class 38 (5) In a pull-operated switch, the chain 20 or the like is attached to an axially-moving plunger to which is pivoted at 25 a link 23 carrying a pin 24 which engages in a pocket-ended slot 11 in the rocking member 10 and when the chain is released a spring 18 pushes the plunger upwards into the position shown in which its end 21 engages one of two seatings 15 at opposite ends of the member 10.
