Abstract
2 - Carbethoxyindazolone is prepared by refluxing together indazolone and ethyl chloroformate in toluene. 2-Phenylcarbamylindazolone is prepared by refluxing together indazolone and phenyl isocyanate in butanol. 2-a -Naphthylcarbamylindazolone is similarly prepared. 2-Phenylthiocarbamylindazolone is prepared by refluxing together indazolone and phenyl isothiocyanate in toluene. 2-Stearoylindazolone is prepared by refluxing together stearic acid, indazolone, phosphorus-trichloride, and toluene. 2 - p - Toluenesulphonylindazolone is prepared by refluxing together indazolone, p-toluenesulphonyl chloride, and toluene. 2 - (31 - Sulphobenzoyl) - 5 - chloroindazoline is prepared by reacting 3-chlorosulphonylbenzoic acid with 5-chloroindazolone in boiling toluene. 2 - Carboctadecoxyindazolone is prepared by boiling together indazolone and octadecyl chloroformate in dioxane and chlorobenzene. 2 - Carboctadecoxy - 5 : 7 - dibromoindazolone and the corresponding 4-, 5- and 6-chloro-, 5-bromo-, 5 : 7-dichloro-, 5- and 6-nitro-, 5- and 6-methoxy-, 5-phenoxy-, and 5- and 6-acetylamino-derivatives are similarly prepared. 2 - (41 - Dodecylphenyl) - carbamylindazolone is prepared by the reaction of indazolone and p-dodecylphenyl isocyanate. 2-(41-Dodecylphenyl) - carbamyl - 5 - bromoindazolone is similarly prepared. 2 - (41 - Dodecylphenyl) - carbamyl - 5 - (41-dodecylphenylureido)-indazolone is prepared by reacting 5-aminoindazolone with 2-molecular proportions of p-dodecylphenyl isocyanate. 2-Octadecenylsuccinylindazolone is prepared by reacting indazolone with octadecenylsuccinic anhydride. 2 - Carbethoxy - 5 - octadecenylsuccinamylindazolone is prepared by reacting 5-octadecenylsuccinamylindazoline with ethyl chloroformate.
