[Also in Group XV] A display device made of cardboard, pasteboard or the like forms a frame for surrounding advertising matter or a picture to be displayed and comprises a plurality of panels I ... 4 jointed or interlocked together in such a way as to be capable of reversible movement to a position in which the panels are each in a different plane and are forwardly inclined relatively to a plane in which the advertising matter or picture is displayed. The panels 1 ... 4 can be interlocked by means of tongue and slot connections 17, 18 and the panels 2, 4 are joined at the top and bottom by integral panels 5 to which they are hinged and to which a backing member 11 is fixed by adhesive. Each of the panels 2, 4 also has a hinged marginal flange 8, 10 on its inner edge which is stuck to the backing member 11. Similarly each of the panels 1, 3 has a marginal flange 7, 9 on its inner edge by which it is secured to a respective panel 5. In a modification the backing member is removable.
