Abstract

The elastomer-forming compositions of the parent Specification are modified in that (a) the amount of zinc peroxide used may be increased up to 10 per cent by weight of the siloxane, and (b) the zinc peroxide may be wholly replaced by zinc oxide, a filler other than zinc oxide being used in this case, together with a vulcanizing or curing agent.
