Abstract
719,487. Bed urinals. READ, J. A. March 20, 1953 [March 20, 1952], No. 7266/52. Class 26. [Also in Group XVII] A male bed urinal has a closure device comprising a hollow funnel-like rubber member 11 with one end 13 closed except for orifices 14, 15 of which orifice 14 leads to a nozzle 16 having a tubular rubber member 17 disposed over it, the end 18 of the member being normally flat to form a non-return valve and the orifice 15 having a non- return valve 19 to allow air to escape from the bottle' into the neck 21 of which the device is inserted. A tapered collar 20 formed integrally with the member 11 ensures a liquid-tight fit.
