Abstract
718,840. Gang mowers; weed breakers; rollers. HOLT; V. H. June 16, 1953 [Aug. 22, 1952, Jan. 20, 1953], Nos. 21133/52 and 1630/53. Classes 6 (1) and 6 (2) A tool bar for use on a tractor for the attachment of implements such as mowers, weed breakers and rollers comprises an arched front member 1 provided with hooks 9, 11 for the attachment of two implements, a rear member 1a provided with hooks for the attachment of a single implement and an arched connecting member 13. Pins 6 and brackets 7 are provided for attachment to the tractor hydraulically operated lifting links. As shown the member 13 is formed in two parts pivoted on a bolt 12, a yoke 21 being pivotally mounted and operated from the tractor to lock the rear portion 13a. The connecting member may be formed in one piece and the implements may be attached to the frame by means of pivoted links. Specification 698,908 is referred to.
