718,402. Supporting wall shuttering or scaffolding. LIND & CO., Ltd., P. May 13, 1953 [May 29, 1952], No. 13725/52. Class 20 (2). [Also in Group XXV] A bolt anchorage which provides a temporary fixing in a concrete surface for shuttering, or which provides a support for scaffolding, comprises a substantially right angled hook having a shank 1 and a tapered turned up portion 2 engageable behind a bar 7, set in the concrete, and a wedge shaped block 13 in contact with the shank 1 of the hook on that side towards which the hook must be turned to disengage it from the bar .7, the block having a facing 16 of resilient material, e.g., rubber, on at least one surface enabling the block to yield slightly in the concrete so that the block may be extracted from the concrete and the hook removed. The bar 7 may be a reinforcing bar in the concrete, or a short length of bar placed in the concrete specially for the purpose.
