[Also in Group XXXI] A unit for adjusting the tension of a vehicular endless track (see Group XXXI) comprises a grease containing cylinder 28 having a threaded end 32 engaged by a bracket secured to the track frame, a piston 40 in the cylinder having a washer 42 at one end and having a shoulder 44 formed by the other end being reduced, the shoulder engageable with an idler sprocket support slidable on the frame, a bellows-like sleeve 50 between the cylinder and the shoulder and a back pressure check valve 36 for the introduction of grease into the cylinder.
