Abstract

715,925. Screw fans. REVO ELECTRO CO., Ltd. May 26, 1953 [May 23, 1952], No. 13074/52. Class 110(1) The driving motor of an electric fan is accommodated within a part-spherical housing which is urged by resilient means into contact with the annular rim of a fixed outer casing. The outer casing 2 is secured to the ceiling by means of a fixing plate 1 and is of spherical formation around a circular hole through which projects a semispherical housing 4 for the motor. A double leaf spring 9 presses against a part-spherical cover 8 to urge the housing 4 into contact with a rubber beading 3. The arrangement allows the angular setting of the fan to be adjusted.
