Abstract

713,868. Photographic objectives. AGFA CAMERA-WERK AKT.-GES. Dec. 18, 1951 [March 15, 1951], No. 29674/51. Class 97(1) In a corrected objective of the type consisting of two outer single convergent elements air-spaced from and enclosing two negative meniscus doublets concave to a stop between them and each consisting of a positive element cemented to a negative element, each of the positive elements in the doublets is of a glass having a mean refractive index of at least 1.65 and the sum of the absolute values of the focal lengths of the negative elements of the doublets is greater than 90 per cent of the focal length of the objective. Numerical data are given for three examples of the objective shown.
