712,831. Making paper bags. KLEIN, E., KLEIN, H., and KLEIN, W., [trading as BISCHOF & KLEIN]. March 21, 1951 [March 21, 1950], No. 6726/51. Addition to 712,396. Class 94 (2) A paper bag of block-bottom type is formed from a blank folded into a flat tube 12 and pre-creased along the sides only between the end portions 13 so that the latter open out to facilitate the further folding over of the ends. No fold lines are provided in the ends 13 before folding over the sides into tubular form. Only if the bag mouth is to be left open is the blank creased up to that end. The method of construction (without unnecessary end creases) assists in preventing loss of the contents of the bag.
