712,581. Electrostatic filters. RESEARCH CORPORATION. Oct. 9, 1952 [Oct. 31, 1951], No. 25311/52. Class 39(1) In an electrostatic precipitator having vertical liquid flushed tubular collecting electrodes supported near their upper ends in a horizontal header plate forming a reservoir for a liquid pool, the upper ends of the electrodes are provided with annular members of the form shown. By means of these members, the overflow level for the liquid in the liquid pool may be adjusted. Each annular member is slotted to provide a spring fit. Additionally each member may be provided with a clamping band or ring.
