Classes.97(1) and 98(2) A film carries a conductive trace arranged to run past and bridge two contacts disposed in the grid circuit of a thermionic device so as to pass only grid current. The trace may be disposed in one film margin and may be of a length depending on the length of contact required, or may have parts in both margins connected by one or more parts in spaces between frames. The trace may be of metallic paint or, to avoid interference with a sound track, of a colourless conductive lacquer. The conductive trace may be carried on an auxiliary film fed concurrently with main film. Specification 711,479 is referred to.
