Class 87 (2) [Also in Group VII] An overshoe or galosh has an upper 3 which conforms to the shape .of a shoe substantially up to ankle height with a collar 5 extending continuously around the top of a leg portion 4. This collar flares outwardly and then inwards to its top edge at the rear and may, as shown, be turned down all round to protect the wearer's clothing or only the front portion may be turned down, or the collar may be turned fully up, the shape being such that it is retained in any of these positions. The overshoe is preferably produced from natural rubber latex, synthetic rubber, elastic plastics or like material by dipping a mould, Fig. 6, shaped in conformity with the shape of the overshoe to give the top or collar portion of the upper the set described.
