Class 108(2) A side car chassis comprises an angleshaped or substantially L-shaped bar, attachment means at or near the end of one of the the limbs of the bar for attachment to the frame of the cycle, a further bar with attachment means at or near one of its ends for attachment, to. the cycle, further attachment means which both connects the other end of the further bar to the other limb c-f the first named bar and also provides a mounting for the side car wheel wherein the attachment means are adjustably carried by the respective bars of the chassis for varying the effective length and/or width of the chassis. In the arrangement shown, an angle-shaped tubular bar 1 carries at its inner end, a split block 2 for stays 3 and 4 adapted to be connected to a frame member (not shown) of a motor cycle. A bar`7 is secured on a boss 6b of a bracket 6'which latter is secured to the outer:: end of the bar 1 and is formed with a lug 6c to which is bolted an axlecarrying plate 6d. A stay 9 is secured to the inner end of the bar 7 and a further telescopic stay 12 is clamped to the bar 7, both stays being adapted for connection to the cycle frame. The stay 9 may also be telescopic. Springs 15 are carried on brackets 14 fixed, to the bar 7, the rear ends of the springs being connected together by a bar 16 for attachment to a side car body. The forward end of the body is attached to the bar 1 by means of swivel brackets 17. The inner end of the bar 7 may itself be adapted for attachment to the cycle frame.
