Class 100 (2) In an apparatus for polychromatic printing, a roller a or a flat clichÚ block consisting of a mosaic of pigments of various colours contacts a matt non-absorbent roller b which receives a coloured pattern therefrom and transfers the pattern to an engraved roller c co-operating with a pressure roller g. The roller c applies to material f the parts of the pattern corresponding to the raised parts of the roller c. The lower part of the roller b dips into a water trough d having rotating brushes e to clean the roller surface after contact with the engraved roller c. The engraved roller c is cleaned after printing by a felt strip h overhanging a water trough i and by a spring-pressed felt pad k.
