Class 110(3) [Also in Group XXXIII] A rocket engine for an aircraft of discus form comprises four combustion chambers 69 discharging into a common nozzle 85 fitted with deflector plates 87 and a reheater 86. The oxidant is liquid oxygen and the fuel an alcohol-water mixture. The latter is fed through a jacket surrounding the com-. bustion chamber before injection. Valves control the flow of oxidant and fuel, and the ignition device. All three valves are controlled by a common throttle lever.
