705,800. Switch cases. BENTHAM. H. M. Jan. 27, 1953 [May 21, 1952], No. 12799/52. Class 38(5) A switch 1 mounted on a cover-plate 2 for flush mounting in a wall-box 7, is held by a bent platespring 5, the ends of which grip the side-walls. The plate-spring is secured to the switch by screws 9 and a plate 8. In mounting, the switch, loosely carrying the cover-plate, is pushed into the box 7 until the cover 2 is flush with the wall 4. The ends 6 of the spring prevent a return movement, and are tightened against the walls by tightening the ring nut 10 which also tightens the cover plate against the wall.
