Abstract
705,353. Electric capacitors. BOSCH GES., R. June 10, 1952 [June 16, 1951], No. 14537/52. Class 37. A wound or stack condenser comprises an insulator carrier strip 10 self-healing metallized at 20 forming one electrode which is separated from a metal foil second electrode 11 by a dielectric strip 12. The carrier strip 10 may be paper and the self-healing coating 20 a zinc layer of 0.1 microns thickness with polyethylene employed for the dielectric strip 12 and aluminium foil for the electrode 11. The end faces have connecting layers 13, 14 and the self-healing coating 10 on both sides of the carrier strip 10 as shown in Fig. 2 may consist of sloping sections 16 connected with the edge 15 solely via fusible links 17 which lie outside the field of the condenser.
