Abstract

<PICT:0705211/IV (a)/1> <PICT:0705211/IV (a)/2> <PICT:0705211/IV (a)/3> A method of drying a synthetic glue film comprising urea-resin, cyanamide-resin or melamine-resin consists in conveying the film through a chamber traversed by warm air on an endless conveyer, the film being supported on the conveyer by members extending transversely of the conveyer, and the said members having a low thermal conductivity or a small heat-absorption capacity so that the film does not stick to the members and tear on removal therefrom. As shown, the film 16 is conveyed through a drying chamber 1 by a pair of parallel endless chains 4 connected by T-shaped members 12, being supported by wooden members 14, Fig. 3, or metal wires 15, Fig. 4, secured to the members 12.
