Drawings to Specification. [Class 34(ii)] Smoked rubber sheets are dried in two stages in the first of which drying is brought about quickly by conducting a large quantity of air at a high temperature through a drying shed in which the sheets are hung and in the second of which stages further drying is carried out at a slower rate by conducting a smaller quantity of air at a lower temperature through the drying shed. The apparatus shown is that described and claimed in Specification 654,297 for use in the smoking and drying method of that Specification. Specification 204,400, [Class 34(ii)], also is referred to.
