Class 38(5) [Also in Group XXXIII] In a control column head is mounted a rotatable member 8 so that its fluted surface protrudes from the arm 3. Member 10 is eccentrically pivoted to member 8, so that rotation of the latter in opposite directions results in movement of member 10 in the direction of its length, in opposite directions, causing actuation of one of the switches 6 and 7, according to the direction of movement. A double acting spring box is connected between member 10 and the arm 3 to provide centering bias, rendering both switches off unless member 8 is held in a rotated position.
