Class 120(iii) A yarn package support, such as a cone tube 12, is formed from a tubular blank as at 14 having an end portion 16 of reduced thickness which is folded back upon itself. As illustrated, the outer members of plies 15 of paper are folded inwardly until their edges abut a ledge 17, formed by the inner plies, to produce a tube of uniform thickness throughout its length and having a smooth reinforced end over which yarn may pass without damage.
