[Class 120 (iii)] [Also in Groups XVII and XXVIII] A cylindrical paper bobbin spool or tube is formed by winding paper upon a mandrel and turning a portion at each end inwardly by rolling to form a creased or folded end 5b with a central opening 5c; the creased or folded ends may be arranged to yield inwardly and grip the spindle on which the bobbin is mounted. The bobbins may be used as distance pieces in boxes for packing goods where the ends of the bobbins may carry labels indicating the class of the goods &c.
