Abstract

An electrical moulding composition comprises shellac, a filler, rosin, and an alkaline earth rosinate, the rosin being not less than 5 per cent. by weight of the composition. The softening point of the composition is controlled by the amount of rosinate present. Specified fillers are silica, talc, china clay or asbestos powder, singly or in admixture.
