692,193. Tilting crates. UNITED GLASS BOTTLE MANUFACTURERS, Ltd., and JUDD. H. J. Oct. 18, 1950 [Nov. 28, 1949], No. 30430/49. Classes 18 and 21 The pivotally mounted cover 14 of a crate for carboys adapted to act as a support for the body 10 of the crate to facilitate tilting, is provided with three side walls the rear one 16 engaging the front corner posts 24 of the crate when the cover is in its closed position whereby rearward movement of the cover is prevented. Tubular rubber is secured to the corner posts and extends across the bottom of the crate to rigidly support the carboy in the crate. The cover is normally retained in the closed position of the crate by a catch 23. Hand-holes 25 are provided in the side walls of the cover to facilitate lifting of the crate.
