Abstract
691,535. Hay rakes. SERVIS EQUIPMENT CO. July 10, 1950, No. 17195/50. Class 6(iii) In a tractor-mounted hay rake having rake tines 16 carried by a transverse beam 11 and stripper rods 20 carried by a similar transverse beam 10 pivoted to the beam 11 at 15, the actuating links 25, 31 cross one another in passing from their points of attachment to the beams to their pivotal attachment 28, 32 on the tractor. As shown, the link 31, rigidly connected with the beam 10, is a lifting link connected by rod H to the tractor power-lift arm G, and the swing link 25, adjustable in length, is pivotally connected to the beam 11. Fig. 1 shows the' links 31 connected in pairs to arms 23 on the beam 10 which have stirrups 24 embracing the links to provide rigidity when the links are fastened to the beam by bolts 33 which also pass through stabilizer links 38.
