Abstract

A method of making alloy extruded forms comprises mixing a powdered magnesium base alloy containing from 0.5 per cent to 8 per cent by weight, preferably 4 per cent to 6 per cent, of tin, with powdered aluminium or zinc comprising 0.1 to 6 per cent by weight of the mixture and extruding in heated condition.
