Class 79 (i) A track roller comprises a cylindrical hub 10 having an enlargement 23 intermediate its ends which is engaged by interior enlargements of a pair of rims 11 carried by the hub, means 24 securing the rims against endwise displacement. The hub 10 is made of cast iron and the enlargement 23 is a centrally positioned circumscribing rib. The rims 23 are made of forged steel, they are pressed and shrunk onto the hub and are welded together as indicated at 24. The hub is supported on a spindle 12 by bearings 13 positioned by bushes 14 which are bolted to the hub. The bearings are protected by dust seals 21 contained in cups 22 which are bolted to the spindle 12.
