Class 18 In a razor blade magazine from which slotted blades are fed alternately from opposite ends by finger pressure on the blades through an opening 27 in the magazine upper wall, a spring 29 urges the blades upwardly against projections 26 bordering the opening 27. The projections 26 maintain the blades below the top of locating studs 13, 14 and when a blade is withdrawn so that its inner solid end engages its respective stud, the adjacent projections 26 fit into the cut-away corners of the blade, permitting it to be raised by the spring clear of its stud for complete withdrawal. The slot of the issuing blade is engaged by a projection 25 extending into the respective exit, so that the blade is located clear of the magazine walls during the whole of the withdrawal movement. The magazine comprises a moulded integral top and side walls which are interlocked with and may be fused to a bottom wall 10. The spring 29 is introduced through a slot 16 in the bottom wall 10 after assembly of the magazine round a stack of blades a notch 17 permits the spring to be pressed into engagement with a shoulder 18 for retention in the magazine.
