Abstract
685,040. Driving. looms. ZBROJOVKA BRNO, NARODNI PODNIK. Dec. 13, 1948. [Dec. 13, 1947]. No. 32224/48. Class 142 (i). Rearward movement of a handle 3 turns a shaft 1 having an arm (not shown) coupled through linkage 9, 10, to a rod 11, whereby a striker 14 closes a switch 15 to run the motor in the forward direction ; forward movement of the handle moves the rod 11 in the opposite direction to apply a brake to the motor shaft; in the neutral position shown, the motor is stopped and the brake released. Movement of the handle to the left about a pivot 2 acts, through arms 5, 16 and a plunger 18, to close a switch 19 to reverse the motor.
