Abstract

2 - Methyl - a - naphthathiazole ethochloraurate is prepared by adding an ethanol solution of auric chloride to an ethanol solution of 2-methyl-a -naphthathiazole ethochloride. Gold derivatives are prepared by adding ethanol solutions of auric chloride to ethanol solutions of 3 - methyl - 2(3) - thiobenzthiazolone and 3 - ethyl - 2(3) - thiothiazolone - [4 : 5 - b]-quinolinone.ALSO:3 : 31 - Diethylthiacyanine chloraurate is prepared by adding an ethanol solution of auric chloride to an ethanol suspension of 3 : 31-diethylthiacyanine chloride. 1 : 11 - Diethyl - 2 : 21 - cyanine chloraurate, 3 : 31 - diethyl - 4 : 5 : 41 : 51 - dibenzthiacyanine chloraurate, 11 : 3 - diethylthia - 21 - cyanine chloraurate, and 2 - [2 - (1 - piperidyl) - vinyl] - benzthiazole methochloraurate and gold complexes from 3-ethyl-5-[(3 - ethyl - 2(3) - benzoxazolylidene) - ethylidene] - rhodanine and 3 - ethyl - 5 - (3 - ethyl - 2(3) - benzthiazolylidene)-rhodanine are similarly prepared.
