Abstract
679,948. Cabinets. EVERTAUT, Ltd. April 5, 1951. [June 12, 1950] No. 14553/50. Class 52 (i). A sectional cabinet comprises units e.g. drawer housings B, C, each having on its lower side a rearwardly directed front flange 19, a spring catch 22 and a rearwardly directed flange 26 and on its upper side a downwardly directed front flange 9 defining, with a flange 3, an opening 10, a downwardly directed flange 8 and a forwardly directed rear flange 13. When housing C is placed on housing B and slid rearwardly, the flanges 19, 27 of the housing C slide into the opening 10 and under the flange 13 respectively of the housing B and the spring catch 22 engages behind the flange 8. The bottoms 16 of the housings have inturned flanges 31 along the sides which bear on horizontal parts 32 of the tops of the housings. A top plate D is fitted with parts 19, 22 and 26 to co-operate with the parts 10, 8 and 13 of the housing C. The cabinet has a plinth A. Each housing may have a plurality of catches 22.
