679,312. Sectional tables &c. SANKEYSHELDON, Ltd. June 5, 1951. [July 8, 1950] No. 17122/50. Classes 52 (ii) and 52 (iii). Sectional desks, tables, work-benches, shopcounters and the like comprise suitable combinations of top units E, F, pedestals A, B, C and end supports D, the underside of the tops being provided with longitudinal channels 9, 10 in which slide the heads 20 of bolts 19, the shanks 21 of which extend through slots 13 and pass through holes 4 in the inturned top flanges 3 of the pedestals, the tops and the pedestals then being secured together in the desired position by nuts 26. The end support D carries two brackets 23 parts 24 of which fit the channels 9, 10 and are bolted thereto. Abutting edge flanges 7 of the top units E, F are secured together by bolts 27. Gaps 22 are provided in the sides of the channels 9, 10 for removing the bolts 19.
